00139 - Left Front Body Acceleration Sensor (G341)

Had this code pop up. VCDS is saying open or short to ground.

Before I go digging in the wheel arch, are these sensors prone to failure? (Hoping that is't just a connector issue!)

IETIS isn't showing me a part number for these? Scuderia parts is showing parts for later cars...

EDIT: Might have found it in IETIS Accel not Acceleration... 3D0616575H. £168 each... Sure hope its a dodgy connector!

Got the sensor out.

Look at the state of the potting compound:

Just wondering if a Pheaton one will work. Same part number but has a G suffix instead of K on this one. Lots on ebay for a fraction of new price.

Put a 'new' sensor on from a Phaeton. Seems ok so far. No codes. Cost £12 including postage, instead of £170...

Hello,
I'm trying to locate the right rear acceleration sensor in a Porsche Cayenne 957 4.8. Sport mode isn't working.

Do you have any ideas?
Sincerely,
