Bentley Sagging Headliner
Bentley Sagging Headliner
Looking for someone to guide me in the right direction for a shop to remedy the common sagging headliner on a Bentley Flying Spur. I’m not too mechanically inclined so doing it myself if out of the question. I’m in Maryland but willing to travel throughout the east coast. I’ve heard people getting it done for around $700 but alot of the local repair shops won’t touch the car.
When I bought my used 2005 GT from a dealer, I insisted they get the headliner fixed. They took it to a local upholstery shop, no big deal.
I think that's your answer, I too had no interest in doing it myself, it's kind of a project.
I think Johnny has a thread on here about it, or at least someone does. Print it out and give it to your shop.
It doesn't appear as if there are any workarounds, I think it all has to come out and get re-glued, I don't think you can just inject sticky gunk from the outside, I think the headliner comes out.
Look for the thread.
But get it fixed, it ruins the feel of the car, I think.

Yes I agree, it might be a two step process. Have your mechanic remove / install the headliner and have a Good interior or leather shop do the re-gluing. A headliner is a headliner I wouldnt even tell them it was for a bentley just that it needs to be done and proper.
