Side mirror lights won't turn off - replaced both batteries

Hi guys, having some issues with an 05 Bentley gt where the side mirror lights are not turning off even while driving or post locking. I have replaced with 2 new batteries and now the alarm sometimes randomly goes off too and the locking indication lights in the doors flash 30 seconds and then go solid and lights turn on.

I have no idea what is going on, but I do know that you will not be able to shed any light on it without hooking up a scanner, most of us use the Ross-tech. You may be able to software reset, or you may be able to get around it with a hard-reset of the batteries.

Did you follow the battery replacement instructions ->exactly<- ?

Had the battery replaced through my Indy Bentley shop where I have always taken it to and they couldn't figure out the reason.

Plus now the battery is draining in a standing car over 2 days with brand new batteries but it starts right up.

I feel the battery is draining through the keyless door handle or something since the parking lights come on the side mirror while driving too...is there a fuse issue maybe ?

Same advice: you won't get anywhere without a good scan of the stored computer codes.

I do know that low voltage wreaks havoc and produces all sorts of odd weirdness.

If they didn't do the battery changeout correctly, which is certainly possible, this may have led to your problems.

I'm not an expert. But I do know that low voltage causes problems, that lots of guys have posted on here about weird problems related to batteries and that the battery changeout is more complex than anyone would figure without having done the research. Oh, and lastly that you can't get anywhere without a computer interface.

Appreciate the guidance...I do have a autel maxi 808 so I'll try to get codes but the Indy shop has changed the battery few years ago too and no issue then.

I will need to find someone with the Ross tech system as I don't have a Windows computer to download too and people said it doesn't work with Mac.
