Daytime running lights

I found this photo of a 2004 GT. Seems like it has some daytime running lights . Was thinking of adding some of them to mine, anyone done that?

Yea I have thought about it too. It’s a post deep on here about that subject too. I thought about it but since we don’t have any I think we have to wire them into our parking lights. Imma try to find it later.

I decided to get a pair of these Philips ones, https://www.amazon.com.au/Philips-Da.../dp/B00JUQVUAO

They should be pretty good quality and they seem to be very similar to what was fitted on the car above. Will get one set, and if they work, might get another. If they don't, I'll fit them in the Unimog , can never have enough lights on that.

Finally got around to fitting the DRLs. Wiring was pretty easy, fitted the positive connection to the starter battery positive lead, and tapped into to the park light circuit behind the headlights. The light come on when I start the car, and go off a few seconds after I turn the ignition off. They go off when I turn the lights on, and come back on when I turn them off. All seems to work well, the lights are very bright, and when they are off, hardly noticeable.
