Different types of electrical conections.

Hi all,
Has any one ever done a video or photo story board on the different types of electrical connectors on our cars. It worries me I start a diy job and come across a connector I cant quite see .
There are different shapes with different types of catches and I dont want to break the connector by trying to incorrectly pull it apart.
Is there a tech manual describing or showing individual connectors
Frank..

Hi Frank,
Here is a site I used to get part numbers of various connectors.
Most VAG connectors have the same clip/securing latch, I will look for the video I saw online.
