Hello,

Does anyone have experience with this issue of blown tweeters in the dash? I recently purchased the vehicle and the sound that is produced is very poor quality and staticky coming from the driver side. Any help or suggestions is much appreciated. Thank you all!

Have you checked the connection to that Tweeter. You'll need to remove the side panel which has an airbag within it. I would check that first before dismantling.
If blown its not an difficult job as long as you know a little on how to dismantle and replace.
The Bentley speakers are not the best but if you want to keep to OEM then you can pick one up quite cheep off ebay.

Being that you have a 2013 GT, you have no tweeters in the A-Pillers of your vehicle as previously described, and, the left side speaker in the dash is not a tweeter as you thought, it is a mid-range speaker, the tweeter is in the center of the dash on your 2013, so as previously stated, I would check the connection on the speaker and or replace it, access should be accessible by removing the Instrument cluster trim/air vent, then removing the Instrument cluster itself, then the speaker itself which is held in place by 2 nuts.

I do find it odd that the 2013 only lists 4 woofers (items # 2 & 3), 4 mid-range (items # 1), and 1 tweeter (item # 8) for the speaker diagram layout.

The speaker (part # 3W3 035 397 A) pictured is for the standard system, not the premium NAIM system which ends in 397 B.

Any updates on your speaker situation? My drivers side speaker right beneath the windshield also went staticky today. I have the Naim sound system in my 16 GT speed
