How to disable passenger airbag on my 2006 Gt Continental

Hi all , can someone please shed some light on this matter , I can find for the life of me the key switch to turn on and off my passenger airbag in my late 2006 Bentley Gt , I have a 1 year old and he loves cars just like his dad and want to take him out in it but can’t find the switch ! Any pics of locations would be grateful thanks in advance!

Hello @Hannibal73 ,
In the 2006 GT glovebox you will see a key slot as pictured below, insert your key and turn, you have to bend down a bit to look up at the slot.

You might also want to check for 'unintended consequences' with the passenger seat belt. When I first got my 2007 my wife complained because the seat belt inertia reel locked and she could not move. When I found my switch, which on my car, is now a red button instead of the key switch, the inertia reel is no longer locked.

All I can figure is that it may have something to do with baby car seats. Yes, I know they are ideally supposed to be in the rear seat, but I figure if you have to put one in the front seat then you do NOT want air bag deployment and do not want play/travel in the seat belt in case of an accident.

So if your belt starts acting this way you will have a hint why.
