If you have seen some of my recent posts I have been having vacuum gremlins on my NTM (new to me) 2007 GT. I purchased the old IETIS on cd which is fairly good, but it does have 'links' to certain information sections that are literally quite dead since this is the 2010 version.
The IPC (even the one on Scuderia) is useful but most of the pictures 'dead end' without a reference to what the 'open ends' connect to. Does anyone have a schematic of the whole system? Would be nice to see where the 'leg bone is connected to the ankle bone.' LOL
Would also like to know where the check valves if any are located. A schematic or system overview would show that?
To say that the vacuum system is a Rube Goldberg affair is an understatement. I just replaced the solenoid on the top front of the engine which Bentley techs called the vacuum boost check valve but the parts catalog shows as a secondary air/egr valve. This solved a lot of my currently apparent glitches including my vacuum pump constantly cycling (see my other post updated today) but absent a coherent tech spec I am baffled as to why. A solenoid is not a check valve where I come from.
So apparently Bentley posture is knowledge is power as in $$$$. (IOW Treat them like mushrooms - keep them in the dark and feed them $---! )
So confusion reigns supreme in a lot of Bentley documentation and 'techfolklore.'
Any help greatly appreciated.

Hello @dangme55 ,
I am not sure if you have seen my video showing the vacuum lines and check valves at the firewall, so I have attached it below.
These vacuum lines at the firewall / steering rack area as shown in my video are the same for the 2004 and up first Gen GT's, meaning, that all first Gen GT's (2004-11) have this vacuum line circuit along the firewall, along with the other circuit being either down the back of the engine to the top of the transmission, with the solenoids on the top of said transmission for the 2004 - 06 GT's, the late 2006 and up GT's have the relocated lines and solenoids to the rear top side of the engine under the "B" cover, but still retain the circuit at the firewall / rack area.
