I have an issue with the convertible roof on my '07 Bentley GTC. When opening it, the bottom of the roof and the boot cover collide. To the extent that is has scraped part of the rubber seal. Photos attached.
Had it diagnosed at a Bentley dealer and they say it requires a full roof replacement at £30k+ which is higher than the residual value on my car.
Has anyone had a similar issue and had it repaired at a lower cost and if so where?
Good afternoon mate, I know that this failure in convertibles is common and surely there must be specialized people who can fix it for you. As a similar example, I have a coupe and the roof has started to sag, a new one at the official Bentley house costs over €5,000, the repair of mine if the leather could be reused is €150 and the replacement with a 95% matching one in color it is €300.
What I want to tell you is that surely there are people who can help you for a much lower price than in the official house.
