2004 Continental GT no boost problem

Hi, i bought 04 continental Gt and I have problem with it.

There is no boost (turbo actuator does not move when revving engine)
I double checked all vacuum lines then smoke tested it and everything is okay

Then output tested all boost regulator solenoids. All working fine

I scanned car with VCDS and have that trouble code:
19475- valve for exhaust flap 1 (N321)
P3019 - 004 - open circuit - intermittent

it is possible that exhaust flap error causes no boost?

sorry for my English skills😅

Your English is fine as to your BGT that is a challenge.

There are two turbo boost control solenoids a left bank and a right bank. Probably one of them is bad. A vacuum test will not diagnose these solenoids because they are boost actuated directly off of each turbo. The right bank solenoid is accessible with the engine in although a bit of work to get to it. The left side is an engine out job. The output test only verified that the electrical circuit or continuity is good. So... regarding the boost solenoids they fail and sometimes the lines feeding them boost reference leaks. My evaluation is a suggestion of probability and not certainty.

Thank you for your answer. Both boost solenoid makes click sound on output test so I think they are fine. I think even if one solenoid is bad then turbo actuator from other side of engine should move when revving

@huber, can you point me what output tests - address , channels you are doing?

The click you hear isn't necessarily the turbo solenoid ..could be...but? The output tests in general click alot from the same place so to me clicks are meaningless. Also if one of the solenoid's legs are cracked and leaking the ECU puts the car in limp mode ...no boost. Even if one bank is good and the orher is at fault.. no boost. The turbos themselves are robust thay rarely fail. I would not rely on the output test in this case other than passing electronically. This issue isn't easily solved...especially long distance.🙂
