Continental GT Mansory

I just purchased a 2006 Mansory GT-I can not find out how to turn on the round clear lights in the lower bumper cover-I replaced bulbs and tried all headlight switch positions-The rear fog/rain light switch does not activate them either. I thought they were DRL but still no go. I did take them off, and hook them up to a battery and they work fine.
Any help and thanks picture below for reference

Hello @FLMansory ,
First off, Welcome to 6speedonline !

As to the lights, the article associated with the picture you posted does say that they are "permanent daylights", but they could also be set up as just "alternative cornering lights", so, have you looks at them while you have either turn signal activated, or turning the steering to either side ?

I would also have a look at the 3 fuse box locations to see if any additional wire and fuse were installed, said fuse may have blown for some reason.

As they are first said to be permanent daylights, then they should illuminate by turning on the ignition power, but as they are for "daylight" daytime driving, I wonder if there is a relay of sorts to turn off the lights when the headlights / highbeams are turned on, as highbeams and fogs/lower lights are are not allowed to be illuminated simultaneously in the US, so just for clarification, as I am a little confused on the 2006 GTC vs the 2007 GTC, as I thought we didn't get the GTC until 2007, so is your 2006 GTC a European version, and therefore something got disconnected for importing ?

As these are said to be permanent daylights, or cornering lights, I would think that there would be no extra switch to activate them, they should be automatically illuminated.

Johnny

Thanks Johnny for the info and reply- I have found they are DRL(daytime running lights) which are like you said. on with the key at all times. There was a fuse that was misplaced? in the fuse box from the prior owner.I guess he did not like them on all the time.
Thanks
Frank
