I recently purchased a new CTEK with the Bentley adaptor battery charger as I was storing for winter. The battery has given me no issues but the CTEK does not go past step 1. From reading some of the threads it’s could be device on the trunk that could be the issue. So I was going to hook up to the battery on left side (drivers side Canada). But don’t see any colours or +~ signs. Any help would very appreciated.

So just a quick follow up as the Ctek went to step 5 and I saw a red light. After researching it’s saying that battery doesn’t hold charge. I just haven’t had any issues with starting the car even in the cold. Is this typical of a battery that is maybe at the end of its life?

Only way I know how to be sure is to do a load test with the battery disconnected.
