2020 Bentley Continental GT Seat Belt Presenter

When I drive off forgetting to buckle my seat belt, how can I get the seat belt presenter to move forward again, besides stopping and cycling my door?

I frequently get sidetracked with other controls after starting the car and hear the seat belt presenter move back to the retracted position. When it does that, it is a reminder to me to buckle up and I just reach back a little further for the belt, it functions just the same whether the presenter in extended or retracted.

I get that the retracted belt can be pulled out from the pocket regardless of the presenter. My problem is that being too "built" up top, my body doesn't twist sufficiently to allow my hand to reach the seatbelt while seated in the seat. It is too bad that Bentley designers and engineers didn't have the knowledge or interest to devise an alternate method, besides stopping and cycling the door, to get the presenter out! But thanks for the tip.

I don't have an answer to your question, but you could use a seat belt extender that would be more "grabbable" if you left the belt plugged into it and then plug the extender into the receiver.

That could be a workaround; however, I would be concerned about the extra belting length delaying complete belt tightening in a frontal accident. But thank you. . .

I know it's not an elegant solution but they don't affect seat belt tightening. They only add a few inches and the belt retracts normally as if you'd gained a few pounds. As its important that the seatbelt not touch my neck in any way, I've been using them for years.
