I use a combination of the vcds and BlueDriver. The latter more for quick diagnosis.

I would also recommend gettting the ITES parts and workshop manual CD or USB Stick (I recommend the USB) from Flying spares. It's great for tracking down parts and how to perform service/repairs on your car. It is extensive and you cannot get a better manual that I am aware of. It is the factory repair manual for the early model cars.

In relation to the Ross Tech VCDS https://www.ross-tech.com/vag-com/VCDS.php I have the HEX-V2 which has the cord. If I had to do it again I would get the Hex-Net which is wireless so I wouldn't have to keep my laptop within the length of the cord, but it is half the price of the Hex-Net.

sazam thats all i have come across in my previous post regards to the air struts ..will post when i find more info bro im still looking ?

Well im back on today thank you all for the info that you have provide
Im new to 2005 bentley and only sat in mine 3/4 weeks ago so im right into putting it right as i go along ..I also know nothing about them build wise
so im looking everywhere on how to do what...without joint help and knowledge we would all be right innit and joining this forum is a God send for me
Im aware even following on some posts you can be left sort of on your own as they Bentley change various bits in production
Going in blind and it would be a very very expensive mistake
So thank you all
Im awaiting the the Ietis manuals to arrive then i will have no problems diving in
I have managed to strip out the whole Center console both the front/Back and put back in now all correct and working as it should be next job on the list front struts
followed by the headlining and finaly paint
I will put a shout out to @Johnny Hotspur GT who has actualy been in there and done it and provided alot of help to me via his posts
I also have no undercover garage which would make life so easy ....Im working in the street and today its snowed 1 degree c
