Hi Alec,
Sorry I was in the middle of making the post and had to take a call, so I posted later, glad you found the items were for the glovebox guides.
As to the rear panels, can you take a picture from outside of the vehicle through the rear glass showing the complete rear panel area, like the tan interior picture I marked up previously ?
I am wondering that being you do not have the same panels as my GT, and I see a fastener nut in the parts diagram, I wonder if your style panels are fastened from the bottom side inside the boot, therefore dropping the module shelf in the boot for access...

Brilliant! I have it all sussed ow, although one of the 'support cords broke and I don't know if I can face taking the whole Glove Box apart again!!
Another little mystery, I found the attached 2 x Trim parts on the floor behind the rear side panel. They are part numbers 3W0867730B & sW0867827. Can you advise where they go/how they fit?
Hello @Precizion ,
Those two pieces go together to hold side rear seat panel in place, luckily you didn't damage the side panel leather by not removing it first, this goes for both sides.
If you watched the video by Luka of Alpine, then you can kinda see it on his face when he realizes he didn't remove the felt covered trim cap to expose the mounting screws as he yanks the panel off, it's even mentioned in the comments on the video.
How are you doing with the rear parcel shelf panel removals, as I may have forgotten something, and I am wondering if the side panels with the "AIRBAG" caps need to have the nut removed to allow for the side airbag cover panel to come out with the parcel shelf panel.
Johnny, popped oit the Aur Bag cover, undud the 8mm mut & Bingo!!
GREAT !!
Sorry about that, I swore I took mine off in two pieces, maybe I put it back in two pieces, but removed as one...
Now that you have it removed, does or did the side (airbag) trim seperate from the parcel shelf section ?
Hi Johnny, the Air Bag panel is clipped to the top panel. A bit of juggling to get it out & back but very satisfying to finally have black sest belts!
My new issue is the windows playing up. The fact thst it is 3 of them, suggests it might be the switch , so will dource a used one.
Happy Xmas & thsnks for all the support!
@Precizion ,
In regards to the windows, are the rear side panels and window switches all back in place plugged in ?
When doing the windows calibration, did you start by lowering all windows, then your passenger side front up and hold, down and hold, up and hold, down and hold, up and hold, then the passenger rear up and hold, down and hold, up and hold, down and hold, up and hold, then the driver's front the same, and finishing with the driver's rear in the same manner, be sure to be sitting in the vehicle with both doors fully closed.
This procedure may take a couple of times for each window, the rears I sometimes have to do the up and down maybe one more added cycle, you will know you are good when the clunk at the bottom of lowering the rear windows stops, then it will go all the way up.
Some more wierdness! I needed to replace the sub woofer in the drivers door. The Trim Panel off much too easily! On inspection, 3 of the 4 large Trim Clips were missing along with many of the screws. Bear in mind the seats & door trims are crom a later Mulliner spec. Then I couldn't get it back on & the culprit serms to be the front top 'peg', The bracket it sits on pushes it out of line witb the other pegs & being riveted on, looks like a bodge to me? What do you reckon?
That front peg and the bracket it sits on is factory, although it does look to be that the plastic peg is or has been pushed inward towards the glass a bit, iirc, I put the front on first and worked to the rear.
I'm fairly amazed that it is standard. The panel certainly wasn't fixed to the front peg when I took it off! What I don't get is that the holes on the door panel are on lone & yet this pig isn't? I've tried several times & there is no way that peg is going in my panel! Could the prgs on a 2007 be differe
nt?
