How do you repair the rear centre console sliding section?

So I've got all the bits but not sure how I repair the section that covers the cupholders etc. I have the single pieces and the underside cloth, but do you glue it or not. Is there a hard stop somewhere as mine just rolls into the centre console gap in the back, so have had to take it out twice now which is a pain!! It's maybe missing a stopper to stop the pieces sliding into the sub console space.

Just another day in Bentley Life!!!

It may be easier to just buy a replacement like this one on ebay and there are a number of similar ones with different finishes in the $200 range.

I cleaned the cloth, applied new Elmers rubber cement, drilled the two end pieces, and secured them to each other and the cloth with zip ties. As long as the end piece cannot fall off the rest will stay in place.
