J, what has happened with the drop links you put it?

The problem you are experiancing is not with the GIAC software but the transmission ECU software. This was a common problem experianced on early GT's. I was with BentleyNA when this car was released and this has been a known problem. A simple re-flash of the trans ecu at the dealer solves the problem.
We have done a few dozen C-GT's and have not had any problems with the GIAC upgrade.
Its the best performance money can buy.
While it is not inexpensive .. It is priced right based on the limited # of cars and the amount of work that needed to be done to properly develop the software. GIAC had our C-GT for over 2 weeks..
The car does have 2 ECU's and they need to be synchronized to work.
Its not something a bunch of kids are doing in there garage at home.
Not a bad upgrade considering the car has a 175K + sticker.
Gentlmen these are Bentley's ...........
Ad an exhaust and the cars really become a ton of fun.

Thanks for clearing that up fabryce I was about to touch on it. Just to add my 2 cents.GIAC is probably the only chip tuning company I trust having tons of experience and knowing their work ethic, they do not hastily push out a product with out tons of testing for power, quality, comfortability and reliablity and safety. they only way something goes wrong from a GIAC chip is if you do something wrong or in your case you need a reflash of your ECU. They go through the whole cars code and rewrite everything seemlessly so that it works optimal at all times. unlike other companies who write a map to cover up other stuff. and simply put for one of the easiest mods to do to any car GIAC really is the way to go for chiptuning. hands down

as far as i know o3-o5 all need the reflash for the tranny and after that happens things should work seemless no problem.
