I have a soft spot too for all my cars, so it happens to me every time when I own a previous body style when the new body style releases.
"That thing is BUTT ugly!!!"
After a few months, I end up replacing the previous body style with new body style.

you may be right actually, i have warmed up to the M5 where i once thought it was a horrible looking car... M6 is still one of the ugliest cars out there imo - i dunno though, e46 M3 became my dream car the first time i saw it on the cover of car and driver, 2 years later i bought one, and i still have such a soft spot for that car, still love it

Ahhhh... I remember the gool old days where we saw a good design and knew it right away. We didn't have to "get used to them" (kind of like a homely girlfriend).
