Carbon Fiber Roof on Black M Coupe
No, sorry, the car is not for sale. I’m not done with it yet.
Thanks for the compliment. The wheels (and the roof and suspension) are from a BMW specialist (TCKline Racing). The wheels are essentially Volks that are special ordered by TCK with the correct offsets and sizes. They usually come with TCK decals, but I opted for a cleaner look.

Thanks. Yeah, the seats are pretty comfortable. The car is not the easiest to get in and out of. The seats are a good compromise between support, comfort and easy ingress/egress.
BTW, I see you're from Chicago...If you're ever downtown you should check out the guys at ProDetail (around 1300 W Randolph). They handled the entire roof installation process and detailed my car to a level of clean I didn't think possible.

I'm not even sure you know what you are talking about Oaks. What is "fully structural carbon fiber"? The piece is a solid laminate carbon fiber panel that takes the place of the OEM aluminum roof skin; same as the new M3 and M6. It's no different than a fender or door skin being replaced with a carbon fiber variant. I wouldn't be calling other peoples' mods poseur unless you knew what they were actually doing.
Why would you doubt it? TCK made a complete Carbon Fiber M Coupe (and roadster). Are you suggesting that they "overlayed" the entire car and somehow, magically dropped over 300lbs?
The roof on the M Coupe is secured with a bonding adhesive and 4 bolts (one at each corner).
...here's a link to an example of my "fake" roof on a white M Coupe. Looks even better on white.
