Just looked out the window and our GSM was pulling out in a Red/Saddle E92 M3 coupe!! Looks nice, interior is nice, sounds great!! We have an M3 sedan here as well down at the other lot on its way to PDI right now!! If anyone wants to see them, they should both be up front/in the showroom this afternoon!!

Just went out in the M3 Sedan... I have to say I wasn't wowed by the car untill the drive... The car pulls just like my M5 (off spray of course) and feels very nimble!! The sound is great, I can only imagine a nice exhaust on it, would be UNREAL!! Feel of the power compares to the E39 M5, but in a lighter smaller car!! Have to say I am thinking about one now

Smaller and lighter? The E39 M5 weighed 3784lbs compared to the new M3's 3726 lbs (a non-American driver in the M5 against an American in the M3 could see the M5 as being lighter in the end), the E39 M5 was 188.3 inches long where as the new M3 is 180.4 inches long. in terms of width, the E39 M5 was 68.9 inches wide where as the M3 is 71.5 inches wide.

The new M3 is superior, with its stiffer chassis and far more powerful engine, but its dimensions are not that much better. I'd even go so far as to say the new M3 is bloated.
