what car to buy?

looking at $120k tops

no kids, dont need 4 seats, and the car's gonna be a weekend car.
was leaning towards something that looks "exotic" ( viper) , but open to all suggestions, just not sure what route to go right now as I like verts and coupes. want a gt3, but black is impossible to find right now for the price. feel lost as I love cars, but stuck what to get

-heres some on my list , but things I don't like about them
-viper ( hear there horrible cars, in alot of reviews)
-Z06 ( way to many , look dated once a new model comes out)
-46 M3 ( "old" car now)
-GT-R ( looks to chunky to me right now)
-92 M3 ( doesn't look to "exotic" to me, kinda plain looking for the price)
-996 ( once again dated to a 977 )
-audi R8 ( back is kinda ugly to me, never seen one though)
-audi RS4 ( dont like the 4 door)
-997TT ( hear there to "soft" a car)

now that I look at my list, might have to convince the gf for a 430

If you wouldn't mind a used car, I'd get a Bentley Continental, Aston Martin DB9, or Aston Vantage..

If you think a 997TT is too soft, have $120K to spend, want something modern and timeless... 997 GT3 for sure.
Post this in Off Topic for some better responses- ///M forum might be biased and empty.

Exotic - R8 or the AM Vantage

less exotic - 997tt or GT3 in a heartbeat. I actually think black hides the lines of the Porsche too much. I've never owned a red car in my life but I would absolutely consider a red GT3.

......or maybe go slightly used and a little bit more money and get this exotic

I think it depends on whether you want something relatively new or a couple year old. For around 120K, you could get almost any brand used (360 modena, '04 gallardo) I think the car for the money is a 997GT3. That car is fantastic right out of the box. Aston Martin is nice and I've seen a used '08 Maserati GrandT in that price range. Tough decision, a lot of sweet cars in the 120K range. How about a brand new BMW M6 convertible? I know someone selling one very soon

Get a used 360 (CS if you can find one), 05-07 Viper (reliable and quite a monster) and mod it, 996 (GT2 or GT3) or 997TT if you can find one for a good price.

Break it up! Don't blow $120k on one car. Get two cars. One for Saturday, and one for Sunday. Go for models that have limited production and will hold there value over the years... Get a convertible and a sporty coupe. Two different ways to have fun all weekend long.

1. Gallardo or 360 Modena
2. 997TT or GT3
3. Bentley Continental GT or.... M6 maybe?

It depends on what you're looking for... sporty, luxury, exotic? If I were you i'll take a Gallardo.

Regards, Alex.

If I was in your shoes I'd start seriously looking for a Gallardo.
My second choice would be a Viper

Although I prob wouldn't blow it all on one car it would be hard for me to pass up a Gallardo if had the chance to get one.
If not, I'd prob get something a few yrs old and a little cheaper like the Viper and mod the hell out of it and save an *** load of money. But if the funds allow it get a Gallardo and TT it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Like stated, a Lamborghini Gallardo! Exotic, fast, and hot.
