This is just my opinion but LSB and Pheonix Yellow are terrible in person, especially the yellow. The majority of the people who buy M3's want it to be classy, and those two colors didn't have much class.

yeah and resale value, paint job, labor, etc?

though i really liked that color on e46 m3, i am not really sure if i will like that on e92 m3.
but it's true that e92 m3 colors are quite boring. i hope they come up with some "exotic" colors

I'm just saying it's more achievable than petitioning for a comeback...who cares about resale if you MUST have LSB LOL LOL..

anyway good luck with that..

Ha, I agree, terrible color. Didn't really like LSB that much either. For a louder color, LeMans Blue or Imola Red, hands down!

You can get LSB as a CUSTOM (not individual) color for 6K...but then again, why not it be free.

Do you know how the cars are painted? Same color cars are painted all at once, in batches. BMW has 4 options: 1)make everyone that orders a car in LSB wait a year or more for their car, until they've got enough orders for it to make as much financial sense as silver or black, 2) get the cars to customers in a timely fashion at greater expense to themselves, reducing their profits, 3) make the customer cover the extra expense, or 4) drop the unpopular, unprofitable colors and listen to a bunch of people whine about a color no longer being available when they themselves never liked it enough to order it or pay extra for it, which is why it was dropped in the first place.

Option 4, for all the whining and petitions they have to deal with, doesn't cost them a cent.

I think the other way - I think LSB is magical in person, but pictures are just ehhhh.
PY is always ugly.

But LSB should remain an E46M color only, IMO.

What do you LSB-bashers think of Mexico Blue???

Have yet to see Mexico Blue in person... I agree that LSB should be a E46M color only, might make a cool collector car for somebody some day (not me though).
