The polish is a pain in the ***, get ready to get your mothers powerball and polish ready after ever time you wash your car. And if you live in a city like chicago, your going to notice even if you maintain your wheels regularly the polished barrels will begin to pit and oxidize with just normal driving.
If polished is so bad why do people get wheels with them???

Its not all that bad but you've gotta maintain your wheels. My first set of forged wheels came with polished lips and it was work, polish every weekend and sometimes its hard to get those spots where the lip and the center face meet!

I'd only rock polished lips on a car thats a show car, not on a car that i drive every day its way to much maintainance. The wheels will oxidize after it rains, and the only way to get rid of the oxidation and yellowing is by polishing.

The wheels on my car currently have anodized lips on them, i love it because like chrome its easy to maintain, in fact the only thing i have to ever do to these things is put a coat of wheel wax every couple weeks just to maintain the luster and shine.
