What are the general thoughts on this car?

 

Steve bud, my friend just picked his up last week, the day he picked it up (drove it home from Philly) we went out for a nice ride.

Thoughts? I was more impressed then I thought I would ever be.

Handling was pretty damn good, took every bump and disoriented surface and ate it right up, not the stiffest or flattest ride, but sometimes it doesn't even matter when it is well sorted. The car stuck so well!

Brakes, also felt great, we didn't brake or do some hard stops yet, but the modulating felt very grippy coming into a turn and when you needed to apply some nice braking force.

Power? A+.. It had some damn punch, a feel I have not felt in a 335, I was actually impressed with it's pull . Felt like a 996TT in delivery and response, the way boost and speed built up but just not as powerful obviously with 100 horsies and torque less, but it was damn quick.

Interior was the typical BMW interior. I personally like BMW build quality, the feel inside of them, just solid car's.

Most notably, in person I didn't think it looked as ugly as in picture's, I thought it was sleek in black and pretty sporty, looked damn good!

 

I need to test drive one of those...

 

Very similar impressions here... black/black looked great in person, maybe my favorite steering wheel ever (this car had cold weather pack which I have heard adds the thicker wheel???)... great seats, build quality seemed phenomenal and I am very much in love with the motor.

I wish it wasn't priced so closely to the 335 but I would buy the car, it'd be an awesome DD
