Hello Everyone,

I'm new to this forum and brand new to the BMW marque. I am expecting delivery in about 6-8 weeks, and I already have a few performance-based questions.

I have read many good things about Dinan's ECU upgrade and their supporting cast of modifications (exhaust, intercooler, and oil cooler upgrades), but I have read some less-than-stellar reviews as well. I know of at least one other company (Vishnu) who makes a nice ECU upgrade as well.

I would like opinions and/or experiences from the community regarding both units as well as others that are on the market. I appreciate the time you will take to reply, and can assure all of you that the opinions will be seriously considered.

The car is a 6A with paddle shifters. I like the idea of retaining a factory warranty with the Dinan products.
