My 05 3.25Ci has a small issue....It has a raddle coming from under the arm rest that sound slike a cliking noise that is most noticeable at slow speed between 1.5-3K RPM

Car has 50K miles and I looked under and the drive shaft seems very loose

I belive I have a bad Shaft Carrier bearing? Anyone else has any thoughts on this? What is the cost usually associated with fixing this issue?

Thanks for any help

windnsea00 is infamous around these parts
Rattling? I would look at the exhaust also but if your driveshaft is loose then something is def. wrong! What made you conclude it was loose?

Parts that wear on the driveshaft (but not at 50k usually) are the gubio (flex disc) and center support bearing.

I fixed it thanks, It was the center bearing, it was missing the screws that tie it down...,nothing was damaged. just a missing screw
