A little update. Here are some pictures of BMW Performance steering wheel and some videos of it in action. It is as thick as the M3 steering wheel but the stiching is not nearly as pretty. I am in love with it. Makes it so much more fun to drive in the canyons!

I too am confused at to the purpose of the lights...it looks as though there are several different options for them to display. If there is more info somewhere post a like...Sick wheel BTW!!

Apparently they are shift-lights similar to the style F1 uses...



pretty useless if you ask me...

I beg to differ. The shift lights are life savers. My car produces max HP at 6100rpm. I have the shift light set to that RPM so I can stay in the best powerband range at all time. It does not just light up either. It shows you when you approach your set redline.
