AudiRS after March '08 BMW has made changes to the ECU to make currently impossible to crack and do re-mapping.
I have discussed this with ASR and it is also happenning to the latest M5/M6's.
Supposedly BMW got rid of engineers that were giving out the goods. Things have clamped down I guess until someone crack it.
What happens with the M5/M6's is you can tune one bank (5 cylinders) and can not do the other side.
Cheers,

Pre-3/08 builds house the v80 ECU which doesn't have the BMW watchdog monitoring your performance modifications.
Post-3/08 builds house the v81 ECU which has the BMW watchdog. Essentially, it has more triggers which throw codes BMW can see. This could eventually lead to voided warranties.
The original posted performance numbers, however, were done on a v81 135i and this new tune (JB3) on a stock car is completely invisible to BMW. So in a sense, they have cracked it. You lose some hp & tq with the v81 when compared to the v80 but the win-win for most is that it remains undetectable.
With BMW recently announcing they are switching to forced induction for their //M line, it certainly makes sense they'll be doing everything they can to stay ahead of the tuner game.

I cant wait for the actual track run. Looks very promising.

If these numbers are even semi-accurate thats unreal!! 12's in the quarter and sub 4 0-60 with just a tune and some race fuel!!!! Awesome
TRM1305 what are you saying? You say that tuning half the motor is okay. Individuals who know their stuff have told me the post March '08 build M5/M6's there is no way to crack the ECU.
BTW what do you mean 12 sec 1/4 mile.
Here is my M5:
