A friend of mine has a 2006 M6. I have an 07 M5. He has complained on occasion that when his car sits for a week or so, that the whole front end squeeks extensively. I have never experienced this on my car. Anyone experience this? Miles are under 10k.

 

Mine often sits for a week, no squeakage here.

 

Suggestions on what would cause it before he wastes time at the dealership?

Drive that awesome car. That is a tragedy to not drive it for weeks.

I have an M5 and it is awesome. I have a GT3 and GT3RS and the M5 gets 90% of the driving use. I love this car, much better than the GT3/RS.

For a comfortable 4 dr. sedan, 4100 lbs which is good for dinner, wife and socializing along for groceries and kids that can run a 11.65 sec 1/4 mile at 126 mph trap. I love this about the M5.

Wring out that M6 and that beast will be perfect.
