SickthGear is infamous around these parts
looking to get into one myself, but worried as the older these cars get - the more maintenance they require

Nice cars but need to pay attention to maintenance. I would recommend finding a really good independent BMW mechanic that you trust.

cons:
-heavy and therefore go through tires reasonably quickly
-may need to add oil periodically
-clutch may need to be replaced depending on how it was driven
-cooling system is an issue

pros:
-still my favorite body shape for a fiver
-fun to drive and stealthy
-easy daily driver especially with kids

could probably come up with more but that's what I can come up with right now.
