What is this?

I saw it this morning. Pretty sure it is a BMW because it left the same time with a new Z4 and a M3. It is smaller than the 1 series.

that is the bmw/mini manufacturer plate #, so you are correct.
can't help any more than that though.

Regardless of performance, I am sure this is a huge market for an inexpensive convertible for less than $30k with a BMW badge on it.
