Hey L8Apex you are going to love it more when you can freely rev that badboy.
I love my M5 and I never see myself getting rid of it. Just get another car but this car is an outright keeper.
There's talk about the future ///M's coming with a V8 TT? I always felt the spirit of the ///M's was naturally aspirated engines but we'll see.

Best of luck with the car. It's powerful sexy beast! I see it now... rims and exhaust (ASR).

Thanks guys! I put a call into Evosport today. From everything I read it sounds like pullies, charcoal filter delete, exhaust and H&R springs are the first mods.
Sound right?

Ranger,
For M to go with turbos on future cars is I guess the nature of the times. To go north of 100bhp per liter gets really expensive. Adding turbos are the next logical step both in cost and performance. My little 335 is a hoot for the money but it pales in the excitement category next to a high strung v8 or v10. The sound and the pull of this v10 is just awesome.

L8Apex enjoy that M6 my friend.
Any question regarding mods or any ideas for the car please feel free to PM me.
We got a nice thing going down here in So. Florida with ASR Engineering. They are responsible for the best times in the country (for the E60/E63 M5/M6) in the 1/4 mile. Check dragtimes.
We have the top 2 times; 11.56 sec 1/4 mile at 126 mph. My M5 ran 11.65 sec. at 125 mph.
An 11 flat 1/4 mile pass is in our sites next month.

Good luck

Ranger

BTW I have enjoyed your threads and posts in the off topic/political section.

Damn, sounds like a deal of the century on the M6. I heard leases on these run upwards of $1500+Tax for a 3yr lease.

And with gas prices coming down now, that makes it even sweeter congrats man.
