E90 LCI - sheer driving pleasure

Just got the 330d as second car for doing longer trips, going shopping etc.
The previous "allround talent was a BMW E91 320d - practicable, spacy, economic and had enough power to get things done properly

But the Diesel, the 330d,with the new 6 cylinder 245 hp 3 liter engine is a whole different story!
It`s running smooth,I mean really smooth compared to my previous Diesel which was already a smooth diesel
Just as smooth as a petrol engine and nearly as powerful as a 335 engine.
It`s really quiet and when pushing it you can hear a diesel unlike sound that reminds you of an V8 engine.
I have a the auto tranny and it`s shifting logically and fast enough at all times..
A masterpiece of engineering!
The suspension is awesome! It`s quite firm to ensure a good handling, yet it`s very comfortable and just glides over uneven roads(don`t know exactly how this suspension works )

The gas mileage is very good!
One filling gets me about 600-700 miles!

The new I-Drive is way better than the old one...
you don`t have to study the manual for days to understand it if your new to BMW and the general layout is much better IMO
the Navigation routing is displayed on a map and Exits/ramps are shown in 3D.

I`m really blown away by the car and just wanted to share my thoughts with you...
first I did not want to post, because it`s just a new DD with some new gimmicks, but I felt a strong urge to tell the world about it
no pics, because it`s snowing all day long and the car is dirty about 1 min after being cleaned..

but that`s exactly how it looks ,black on black except that I have crome lines

enjoy your weekend,

your young bimmer

Congratulations!

The Dutch AutoWeek put this car on a dyno, and guess what... 273HP instead of 245

lol ,thanks for the info
I really wondered why it is so freaking fast,as it is only a 330d..
and the best is : I don`t get over 7,3 l/100km in the mix ,even if I push it really hard.
My 335i convertible easily gets to 16,17,18 in the mix(Autobahn,City) if I push it.

some pics of that nice DD
