Auto shipping?

Auto shipping?
Just pulled the trigger on a used 2008 M3! I need to have it shipped from the dealer and the quote from the suggested shipping company (Accelerated Logistics) is $1,400 for 1200 miles and enclosed shipping. Apparently Accelerated Logistics has done shipping for this dealer before and is located nearby.
$1,400 sounds high priced compared to what I've seen on the message boards over the past few years. I thought it would be $500 to $700.
Can anyone recommend a reliable auto shipping company that should be less expensive? Has anyone heard or had experience with Accelerated Logistics? Do I need to avoid them even if their price is competitive or use them even if their price is a little high?
Also, do I need enclosed shipping? Nearly all the pics I've seen on the message boards of posters' cars arriving have them coming in an enclosed tractor trailer.
Thanks, and looking forward to posting more.

I paid 900 for shipping from TX and this was not enclosed. If I were you I would fly there and pick it up. More fun that way getting to know your car. 1200 miles is a nice day trip at high speed
