How satisfied are you with your E92 (E90) M3 ?

I'm a fan of both cars though neither is my daily. I have friends with e92 M3's as dailys and friends with 911/911tt's as dailys. both are very capable of being great dd's

Location, maybe? Here in Chicago, a 911 would be subjected to deep snow and potholes that exceed it's ride height - not fun, or practical.

I bought a 2008 M3 and on the track it was okay and terrible front tire wear had to replace them after 2 track sessions as not enough camber, and sold it with 4K miles due to dealer poor service. I think the Porsche is the way to go if you want to track. For me new is no longer an option.

I'm very satisfied with my purchase. I drive it as my DD and have tracked it numerous times. As we all know, it's not the fastest car in the world, but it's quick and the driver's experience is second-to-none in it's price range. It's just a well balanced car combining comfort, handling, and a high-revving V8 engine that evokes the tingles on the back of your neck while exploring the top range of the RPM bands. This M3 will truly be the last of a good thing with BMW going F/I on the next M3.

I feel as though the M will provide a overall better driving experience compared to the Porsche, with the exception of the Turbo/GT3Rs I don't see any P cars offering the M experience (Engine, practicality, etc)

I may be biased but i say M all the way for it's all around capabilities, for me the on p-cars that grab my attention are GT3's and Turbo's.
But on a sidenote have you looked at the cayman's? That might be another alternative for you??? As it is more daily drivable imo...

I don't think the M3 is all that practical either unless your daily commute is like 2-5 miles. It only averages 14mpg in the city.
Why not get a 335i? They are relatively cheap CPO'd, have decent power (their owners claim they can walk Enzo's with a tune), and you can get decent gas mileage.
Possible cons include owning a car that 10,000 other teenagers/tuner boys drive around on their 72 month finance plans.

CPO is a great deal, though. i have a 330i that i got CPO and it's the best deal i've gotten on a car in a long time.
