BMW E92 M3 [Gpower] Vs MB C63 [Stage 3]
#47
They were asking $1,450/mo. Ridiculous. I figured to lease and if I like it I'd buy it.
Regardless I'm much happier with the '06 M5 purchase. If I do not do a TT kit for it, there's the ESS SC'er supposedly coming soon.
Cheers

One quick question to anyone who is interested.
If I wanted the G power Mod can I still buy the M3 DCT or does it have to be manual? will the DCT make any problems to the G power or does it have to be reprogramed. In other words, which transmission works better with the MOD with less playing around with the car. I hope this makes sense

Is this a fully built engine? Are you doing full internals. Are you doing a complete clutch / drivetrain match?
What compression are you running? What internal engine changes have you made?
Best of luck

Does anyone notice the orange grill from G power behind the BMW grill can't they blend that in. I know its not a big deal but it doesn't look professional don't you guys think?

What compression are you running? Who are you sourcing your pistons / rods from? What size turbos? Who is designing the manifold? Factory engine management or standalone?
No doubt you mention the clutch as the factory clutch will not take the torque generated by a built motor / TT setup, and you are in the process of sourcing yours. I'm sure you are not the only one taking that into account

CURIO there many details in this monstrous undertaking. There has been much original fabrication required. One big delay were the turbos. Waited for the latest release from Garrett / Precision. Each can flow 650 rwhp.
The G-Power Hurricane at 750 bhp, ha that's funny.
ASR doesn't want to divulge too much until this baby's out.
We are planning a Nov. airstrip event down here and will do 1 mile rolling start runs.
I will PM you soon with some added info about the build.
