I get a bmw 08 m5, about 5 month ago, i put sone lil thing in the car, the first modification that i did was, the sound sytem upgrade, with the stock radio and cd player, now i have a big proble, the chime alert when i start the car for the seat belt and anyhing that the car need start the chime again but very loud because the new sound system, if anybody here know how can i turn off the chime just the sound from the alert, please let me know, and i also want to know if i cant turn off how do i do to tunr down the volumen from the chime alert. because is a big loud sound?

 

with audi's you can vag-com it, but i dont think BMW's can do this. did u call ur dealership?

 

I believe you can adjust the volume through the BC button to the right of your steering wheel.
