I actually like those rims, much better than the gunmetal 18"s that came on my M3. I'd like to hear your impressions once you can really drive it. I'm happy with my ML63 AMG, but it will need replacing someday. i think the M might just do it!

 

Sick car. I sell BMW in NJ and I can tell everyone from dring this car it is a beast. EASILY low 4's to sixty and handling to match. I sold Porsche before and the fact that a Cayenne GTS cost the same as an X5M just shows how good a deal the M really is. The GTS (for that matter the turbo and turbo s) can not really come close to how well the X5 M drives, handles and accelerates. Great exhaust note also.

I don't have the specs handy, but i believe it is 7200 or 7500 lbs.

 

Any reason you choose an X5 over X6? Both are great cars nonetheless.

 

My previous daily was an 06 X5 4.4.

I like the X6M too but the rear seat - cargo differences and my familiarity with the 5 made it an easy choice.

Its great that BMW gives us these two great options.
