BTW, I don't need a Mustang or similar....

when I have the torque of my SL55.
I'm just saying, SUBJECTIVELY, that the e60 tkaes a little more twist to get going. It's fantastic from 40 to 140. And a 6 speed E60 M5 ain't much fun to me, might be at the track or on a long open drive...
Anyway, flame on...

I understand what he's saying, as when I was looking at buying an e39 M5 few years ago, I just preferred the feel of the car over the e60 M5... yeah the e60 was faster but more refined... the e39 just had a more raw and rorty feel to it, I love that V8 gurgle.
