Opinion needed: 07, 08 bmw x5, sport package suspension performance ...

Looking for a hard to find 07 or 08 black,grey, bmw x5 with sport package, was told suspension firmer, anyone had a chance to compare? highway performance?

Dean, just got rid of my 07 4.8i Sport and it was an absolute blast. With the 20" wheel package and suspension the truck handled more like a sports car than a SUV. It did eat up tires quick (first set of RFT's lasted only 10k miles in the rear), but once I put a non-run flat tire on the car I got 3-4 times the life out of them. If I had to do it all over again I would have optioned the car just as I did.

 

i was hoping to find a 3.0 6 cyl, not easy to locate.
