Tire Size Question for 2009 E90 M3

Does anyone know if a set of 245/40 R18 Michelin Snow Tires will fit on the E90 M3 Sedan with the stock grey 18" wheels?

I have the set of snows already and figured I would put them on. Tire Rack recommends 235s in front and 255 in rear, but I really didnt want to waste the tires I have.

Anyone Know for sure?

I installed Terry's 17" Kosei K1's on my car at Famoso but I think something like a wheel weight was hitting my caliper once i started driving and I couldnt determine it quick enough it was getting dark so I never made a pass on them. So I know those fit for sure it would be sick for a drag setup but they arent wide enough.

So 17's fit for sure? Kosei K1 you say?

Maybe I should just pick up a wider set of used E46 M3 offset 17's?
