Hi Guys,

For those who has driven both the M6 and the M5, are the engine/exhaust notes on these vehicles the same? I know they both use the S85 engine, but are the exhausts tuned differently for the coupe and sedan bodytypes?

Thanks for the help, I recorded the sound of FatalFlash's M6 last weekend, now I'm curious if there is a need to record a M5.

 

M6 stock is a tad louder than the 5.

 

ok, guess I don't need to record the M5 then. Although it would be fun to do that one day, just for completion's sake.

 

L8Apex is correct. The overall length of the exhaust is shorter for the M6. Now I do not know specifically if this is the reason.
