Those are some fast cars...

+1 from a dig - on street tires would be equally as awesome. I'm quite interested to see how that turns out.

I run the snow performance kit, with two 175ml nozzles, a nice amount to cool IAT's. I ran it on my E46 m3 as well, best of luck to your buddy, ESS makes a really nice kit as well.

Good questions-

I have one just after the SC'r discharge pipe, the second is just before it enters the manifold.

You can see them in this vid at the beginning, between :10 - :13s in.

It's the standard "progressive" boost kit, I believe now the same controller can be used for both progressive boost or MAF readings.

I use the snow performance 50/50 "boost juice," they sell it by the case, 4 - 1 gallon jugs, it's inexpensive and works great.

BTW what were the results of your 996tt against your buddies ESS M3?

thanks for the tips. i will tell him to order the system. we took his car back to the dyno with exhaust and no cats and it made 499whp vs the 471 it made before. my car pulled several car lengths on it. i actually bought the 996tt from him

Yup dumping the stock cats is good for 20+ WHP, very nice #'s!

Very nice TT! What does your 996tt have mods wise?
