what would you do?

so, i have to get another car! i'm just itching for it. SO, because it has to be my daily driver, i'm thinking or either an e46 m3, 135i, or another sedan like the 335i. i'd love to get an e90 m3 but here in canada the prices are just ridiculous for a pre-owned one. i would be doing exhaust, intake and ecu reprogramming most likely before i take delivery so keep that in mind when thinking power figures. what do you think? is a pre-owned e46 worth it or just get something with full warranty? what are your thoughts?

I would say get a 135i if you don't need the extra room and 4 doors. I guess I'm alittle biased though as I just posted last night pictures of my modded 135i. If you are looking for power the new n54 is a power house and is soo easy to make faster. I'm sitting around 400 whp with a an ecu upgrade and a few bolt ons

I just got out of my E46 M3... was definitely an awesome car and they are quite affordable these days. Just make sure you have documentation for maintenance.

Having driven all 3 of those, I went with the e46 M3. There's just something about the M cars that you can't really get in anything else. I have been considering going the 135i route lately though, especially since they are far easier to get huge gains from than the e46. Maybe hold out for the 135tii (or whatever it is they have in development) or just go with an e46 M3...you won't regret it unless you get an absolute lemon.

Most people would agree that the e46 looks better than the 135i, if that means anything to you.

I was in the same boat about 3 months ago, (M vs 335) In no way would I consider the 1, it's way to soft looking. (Yes, I'm fully aware on how capable the little thing is, but it looks like a girls car)

I ended up with the M. The 335 is way too common, you would think BMW is giving them away. Plus, I personally love the raw feeling of the e46. I'm not a stickler for these new cars that are "smooth" and "refined"

+1 I think the e46 would be a lot more fun as a daily driver.
