E30 V10 vs GT3 RS

+1. I never understand these comparisons. The cars are so different, built for polar opposite uses. You have to wonder why the RS owner got himself sucked into that. Did they have a second race on a track?

Well a gt3rs isnt exactly a slow car straight line. Thing would beat a first gen gallardo.

Its about ego and how bad ass their cars are, plus its just fun. You talk about the GT3 RS like its a honda. Its impressive that the E30 won by such a big margin. Being an V10 not sure how it would handle on the track since it might be a little nose heavy causing understeer but I'm sure it can hold its own. the thing has an M5 V10 in it I believe. What do you expect? I highly, highly doubt it would run with a GT3 RS on a track.

I think a honda civic hatchback with a big turbo and no rear seats would make for a better comparison with an e30 with a v10.

Regardless of any comparison, that little E30 hauls arse. Very cool!

M5Board Races all cars in a straight line usually from a rolling start of about 30 miles per hour? I think. They do a nice job though even if it wasnt considered a great comparison. They do this with almost every car out there! Check some of their videos...kinda cool stuff.

That's the first time I've seen a cage come up to the front pillars like that in a GT3 (that's not a full spec race car). What else did it have done to it? It looked like it was pretty low in the revs when they hit it.

This looked like a "race" less about comparison and more about perspective. I don't even look at it as wow that M3 destroyed the GT3RS... its more like wow that thing is fast. Then again it could have been perspective of speed on any fast car, this just happened to be against this one. I think its a great comparison to show what level its at. It looks like the owner has gone up against a lot of cars to see how well it matches up to others.

gotta love the roll up windows in the E30.. what work does it have done to it? Does it have the e60 v10 in it?
