Motor Trend 2011 M3 vs 2011 Ford Mustang GT
Pretty impressive for the Mustang that costs $25,000 less!
Wow, a lot closer than I would have thought.
Nice. Mustang certainly has alot of bang for the buck.
Well good for the Mustang.....the biggest problem is, you still have to get out and look at it.

I'm impressed. I think I need to go drive one just to see what its like.
"Whoa! You try that in the mustang and you will be off the track!"
Still an M3 'fanboy'... hilarious SoCal |
Best bang for the buck, there's no denying the mustang for the $$$ is a great performer. But an M3 is an M3, it has the feel, fit and finish.
it sounded like the Mustang was a set of shocks away from beating the M3...
Add some good shocks and it would definitely be a great track day car. Ford Racing just announced a supercharger kit for $7499 list that will up power to 624HP and 536lb of torque....this car could be a real monster on the street and track and still be $15k less than the M3!
Very impressive performance from the Mustang.
I'd still take a used E90 M3 but the Mustang has to be one of the most impressive domestics out there.
There are a lot of fast cars around these days but as we know there is much more to a BMW than just performance, thats why they cost additional $$. I mean, itīs like comparing McDonalds to a fine dining restaurant. Both can make you full but only one is able to give u a classy experience and only one will fully satisfy your soul.
