I'm a huge fan of all the cars in the video and got to ride along with both the ESS car and the Switzer GTR to do some camera work. Everyone already knows the Z06 is a beast, and the 458 is a dream car. I was thoroughly impressed with how hard the ESS car pulls, and driving at cruising speeds, car feels stock. A total sleeper of a car! The GTR belongs to a friend who tracks the car on road courses... car has big aero, not set up for hwy pulls as he's on 91 octane (625 whp on a mustang), but what a fantastic car. So easy to just point and mash. He isn't very familiar with the roll on runs so you will see some inconsistency with his runs as he was also manually shifting. These runs were all done on rented land south of the border. Enjoy!

I think with the GTR on race gas, minus HUGE rear aero would make a huge difference, probably a solid 70 to 80 whp difference. Our gas here is horrible so I was impressed with the results. Also not sure if it would've been better for the driver to just put it in some type of sport auto mode and let the car shift itself?
Even on 91, the P800 without the wing, without the passenger, and in auto mode would have been significantly faster than seen in the video.
On race gas it's a whole different car, as seen here against a Veyron: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DdwFDFZPM5I

Glad to see our GT-R is representing out there. The car is set up strictly for the road racing. Its cool to see the customer have some fun with it in straight line pulls

100% dead on Scott!
Exactly. The blue Z06 respectfully walks 996TT's with tunes & bolt ons... so for the GTR not set up to do highway runs, with me in it, and with a driver manually shifting on 91 octane was impressive. Also extremely impressed with the ESS M3. I'm buying the race gas for the GTR on the next outing because I need to see this car at it's potential.
We will get some new runs with the GTR at his full potential. Let's not forget that he trapped 136 at Famoso raceway on 100 octane, not C16, so it has even more in it with real race gas. Famoso is not a bad track, but not a fast track by any means, at Sacramento he'd trapped near 140. 91 octane is really that bad guys, either way none of us are delusional here, we all know the other cars in the vid are not in the league of a properly setup Switzer P800 GTR, lol.
