Congrats and welcome. Love what you have done with the wheels. I have been looking for rims since I picked my M3 up in September. I have AW and do not want black or silver wheels. Yours look simply fantastic. Are they more gray than black or does it just appear that way in the pics due to the fact that your car is SG? I'm thinking they'd look killer on AW.

the shot in the OP where its mostly wheel and some front fender. thats very close to what you see all the time. very true to the eye.

thank you very much. its a dark hyper black, some refer to it as hyper gunmetal too. the color is always changing depending on what type of lighting is around, from silvers to blacks. this is my 5th set of wheels in this color. i just love it!

Thank you greatly for the reply. I think that hyper black would look killer on AW. I am going to do some snooping around to see who near me (Balt/Wash DC area) would be able to pull this off. Sounds like a rather detailed process to get these wheels to look like that. I'm assuming you started with the OEM silver ZCP?
or
you can call a local body shop and ask them. someones gonna point you in the right direction.

found some different pics of the wheels after they were done.
good example of how reflective that finish is. look at the valve stem. you almost see me in the spoke as well.
