Am a long time 911 driver, and love them. For street and track, there are few better.

However, I just added an E92 M3 and think its a great car. Will be seeing lots of DD duties, but no track. Have the GT3 for that.

I've no doubt you'll like the latest gen M3. Performance, refinement, utility. A very well rounded car.

Sliding scale of sports vs comfort; 1 being most comfort, 5 being sportiest.

Lexus - 1
Merc -2
Audi - WTF who knows? 2-4 depending on vehicle.
BMW - 4
Porsche - Hard 5.

P.S with the 991 release and deliveries coming all throughout this year, the used market will see an influx of many late model 911's. You may want to hold off and keep an eye on the used market. Also if you can still find a Base 997.2 on a lot that's new, you could pick it up for a significant discount. When we were shopping last year they were throwing out 10-20k discounts on 911's, almost picked up a new 2011 C4S manual for 82k without even haggling, since they were clearing out inventory for the 991. They same is true for the Boxster and soon the Cayman. Good luck.
Ptarded, I can't PM yet but I'm interested in hearing where to find discounts like that on a 997. Any leads would be appreciated.
