5 series recall
got the BMW NA letter about the neg batt cable in trunk of my M5 so took it to my Dealership for "fix" (no charge)
SA said time for Oil Change and Plugs - going on a driving trip 1st of June, so "OK" (no charge)
while on lift, mechanic discovered blown front lower control arm bushes "blown" - had replaced (part # 31-12-6-765-992)(yep, CHARGE - got into my beer fund but gotta do it !)(did get a "free" alignment tho)
45 min fix turned into 4 hours
good to "go" on the 2000+ mile trip
